Enables staff to maximise development opportunities using your organisation's appraisal scheme. Covers the principles of good appraisal for both appraisers and appraisees, looks at interviewing techniques, setting objectives and self-appraisal. (Can be adapted and tailored to suit either audience but is designed for both.) |

To enable participants to prepare, plan and participate effectively in meetings. |
Minute Taking |
Enables staff to develop techniques for dealing with a variety of situations in which they are required to take minutes. Covers planning, preparation, different techniques for taking notes, turning notes into minutes. |
NVQ Training and Assessment |
Provides an introduction to NVQs for staff who wish to train as NVQ Assessors. Follow-up assessments provided for candidates going through the D32/D33 process. |
Presentation Skills |
Enables staff to design and deliver better presentations. |
Report Writing |
Enables staff to identify the essential components of a report, to recognise examples of good and bad writing and to practice techniques for improving report writing skills. |
Running Groups |
Designed to enable participants to explore the different techniques for managing small or large groups. |
